emphasise.me was formed by James, Rufin and 12 other people as part of the Young Enterprise competition in October 2013. Things were slow for us for around 7 months as we were mainly focused on doing well in the competition rather than doing well as a company, and so our efforts were all aimed at building a large brand and a respectable social media following.
In the competition, the team did well. We achieved two awards at the SWiM level (Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead): the Runner Up award for our overall achievement (which placed us into the next level) and the Best Presentation award for our four-minute pitch to some mock investors. After qualifying for the Berkshire level, we polished up our presentation and at the Berkshire finals we again achieved the Best Presentation award which was a huge achievement for the team.
Once the competition had drawn to a close, James and Rufin passionately continued emphasise.me and used this passion to build a portfolio of websites that both emphasise.me and their clients can be immensely proud of.
Here at emphasise.me we understand and appreciate the importance of a strong web presence for any kind of business or organisation. That's why we make sure that your website gives your company as strong a presence as possible.
The process of us creating a website is painless and simple. We'll have a meeting where we discuss your requirements for the site, you give us any content that you want on the site, and then we get to work creating it whilst keeping you in the loop every single step of the way.
